Lunch Bite: Robert Anderson's Civil War presentation sword

Garry Adelman, director of history and education for the Civil War Trust, shares Maj. Robert Anderson’s presentation sword given to him by the city of Philadelphia for his defense of Fort Sumter. Anderson commanded Union troops at Fort Sumter until he surrendered the post in April 1861. He was an honorary member of the Society of the Cincinnati and the great uncle of Larz Anderson, the original owner of Anderson House
The presentation will last approximately 30 minutes with time afterwards for up-close viewing of the sword.
